Guest lecture: Advanced Computational Sustainable One Health Modelling embedded in an Economic context

Start: 09.08.2024 10:30

EMÜ assembly hall (Fr. R. Kreutzwaldi 1a, Tartu)

This lecture will provide an overview of computational frameworks that use data science techniques to model and analyze animal, human, and environmental health data from various research disciplines, including economics. Throughout the course, students will learn to use models to represent and simulate real-world cross-sectoral scenarios, gaining familiarity with simulation methods from infectious disease modeling, ecological modeling, and One Health modeling embedded in an economic context. The course will cover both theoretical and implementation levels, with a focus on integrating data from different disciplines to analyze One Health scenarios, challenges, and potential solutions.
