BOVA course «Animal Welfare Assessment» to take place in Tartu on March 7-11. The course aims to provide students with the confidence and competence to assess the welfare of animals kept by humans; as pets, in rescue centers, for display, for research and for food production.
At the end of the course students will be able to confidently and accurately assess the welfare status of a range of animals in a range of captive situations.
Main course teachers are from EMU: Assoc.prof. David Arney, prof. Väino Poikalainen and Tiia Ariko.
