The presentation of Juhani Püttsepp's book My Granny's Cow

On November 4 at 16.00 there will be a presentation of Juhani Püttsepp's children's book My Granny's Cow at Rahva Raamat, the bookstore in Tasku Centre. The book aims to give children a fun overview in the form of a story about cows, raising cattle and explain where milk comes from.

"It is getting more and more complicated for a child from the city to understand where milk comes from. Yet it's not easy for country children either, as the tendency to raise single animals is in decline and it is quite rare that granny's cow is eating grass in the garden" Püttsepp explains. The book also speaks about the work of veterinarians and the future of milk - the author even mentions genetically modified milk with medical qualities.

The book was illustrated by Jaanika Sokman (EMÜ, Landscape Architecture, MA) and edited by Eha Järv (Institute of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Sciences, technician)
