Veterinary Medicine programme received 75 applications

June 15 was the last day to apply for English-language programmes at the Estonian University of Life Sciences. The programme of Veterinary Medicine received 75 applications from seven different countries.

Traditionally, most applications came from Finland. The Estonian University of Life Sciences has been teaching Finnish veterinary students from 1997. But if most of them studied in Estonian, since 2013 veterinary medicine studies are also offered in English, so that students from other countries can also apply. This time, among applications were also those from Latvia, Italy, Egypt, Kenya, India and Pakistan.

Veterinary Medicine studies take six years and give the qualification of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
