Engineering students achieved 1st and 2nd place in international pneumobile competition

On May 6 to 7, students from Institute of Technology and Technology College took part in the international competition “Pneumobil 2016” for designing and building pneumatic driven vehicles, achieving first and second place in the category of construction.

Last year, our university was represented at the competition by one team who won the third prize in construction This year, three machines were designed and constructed. Team leader Marten Noorem, master’s student in Production Engineering, says that the teams put most of their efforts into succeeding in the category of construction, and the approach was fruitful.

The event was attended by 55 teams from various European countries. Estonia was represented for the third time.
