Yesterday the two-day period for voting on the candidates for the directors of the institutes to be established on 1 January 2022 ended.

The election committee took decisions based on the results of the votes. Based on clauses 7.1 and 7.3 of Rector's Order No. 1-8/70 of September 1, 2021 and the results of the e-voting

• Aret Vooremäe have been elected the director of the Institute of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences with a workload of 1.00 from 1.01.2022. 
• Toomas Tiirats have been elected the director of the Institute of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Sciences with a workload of 1.00 as of 1.01.2022. 
• Marek Metslaid have been elected the director of the Institute of Forestry and Engineering with a workload of 1.00 from 1.01.2022.

The average turnout was 71% of the total number of members. The decision of the electoral committee shall enter into force upon notification.
