Nebraska Lead Group visited the EMÜ

On their trip through the Baltic countries Nebraska Lead Group visited the Estonian University of Life Sciences on January 16 2010. Nebraska Lead Group visited the cowshed in Märja, had a look at the small and large animal clinic of the Institute of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Sciences. Tiiu Ohvril gave an overview of the contemporary trends in Estonian agriculture and Ülar Loolaid focused on agricultural support programs and the problems connected with it. After the lunch the guests had a pleasant opportunity to talk to our PhD students.

Professors from the National Veterinary School of Nantes visit the Estonian University of Life Sciences

On January 13 Professor  Bruno Lebizek and Professor Catherine Magras fromthe National Veterinary School of Nantes visit the Estonian University of Life Sciences. They will visit the Department of Food Sciences and Food Hygiene; Institute of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Sciences, including the micro-diary and animal clinics and the Institute of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences.

Mait Klaassen was elected the Rector of BOVA University Network for the netx three-year period
