Short term scholarships

 

                               

Nordplus is a scholarship programme of the Nordic Ministry designed for Nordic universities. Nordplus is based on networks between universities / faculties and students whose own faculty is a member of this kind of a network can participate in the Nordplus exchange.

Nordplus Activities

Intensive courses
Nordplus finances intensive courses (minimum 5 days) held during the semester periods or in the summer period. Course participants must represent at least three Nordic countries. The course must give academic credit (ECTS), and be eligible for academic credit transfer. Funding includes student mobility grants.

Curriculum development
Nordplus also supports curriculum development projects i.e. for developing short (intensive) courses, common study material, and distance learning concepts.

Joint study programmes

You can apply for funding for development and the initial phase of joint programmes. Contact your local Nordplus coordinator.

 

NOVA-BOVA Nordplus Network

NOVA / BOVA Nordplus network was established in 2008 and it grants mobility scholarships for students and teachers in NOVA and BOVA member universities.

Funding scheme. There are two options:

  1. If the course is supported by Nordplus, home university covers the travelling costs. All other expenses (hostel, meals, materials, etc) are covered by the organising University.
  2. In case the course is a BOVA course, students are entitled for a scholarship and they bear all the costs themselves.

In both cases students have to contact their Nordplus/BOVA coordinators at their home University.

 

NordNatur NordPlus Network

NORDNATUR is a network of 13 partner institutions of higher education from Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Danmark, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. It is supported by NORDPLUS and offers scholarships for student and staff exchanges in the field of natural resources management.
