The score recipient code for the Estonian University of Life Sciences is 7383.

 

Purpose

Measure knowledge of Biology at a college-preparatory level with a molecular emphasis (Biology M).
Please note that starting from intake 2017, only Biology M is accepted!

Format

Biology M has

  • 80 multiple-choice questions
  • 60 of 80 questions are common to both Biology E and M, followed by 20 specialized questions for each section

Questions may require you to

  • recall and understand the major concepts of biology and to apply the principles
  • organize and interpret results obtained by observation and experimentation
  • draw conclusions or make inferences from experimental data, including data presented in graphic or tabular form
  • solve problems with simple numerical calculations using the metric system


Recommended Preparation

  • One-year college preparatory course in biology (either a general survey course, or one with emphasis in ecology or molecular biology)
  • One-year course in algebra (or one year of an integrated math sequence)
  • Experience in the laboratory


When does the SAT Test in Biology take place?
 

The SAT is offered seven times each year in the U.S. and six times internationally. It is offered in October, November, December, January, March (U.S. only; SAT only), May and June.

How to register for the SAT Test in Biology?

Online registration
• go to the website: https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/sat/register/online-registration-help
• create a collegeboard.com user account
• to complete your SAT registration online you must have one of the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express.

If you miss the late registration deadline, you may be able to take the SAT as a standby. Test centers accept standbys in the order of their arrival, only if they have enough space, testing materials, and staff—so there is no guarantee that you'll be admitted to the test. You will not be admitted until all pre-registered test-takers have been seated. There is also an additional fee for standby registration.

Scores of SAT test in Biology will be available on the web around 5 weeks after the test. If you have a collegeboard.com user account you can view your scores online. Paper scores arrive around 6 weeks after the testing day.

Please request the sending of scores before the test, then we will receive the scores at the same time as you.
