There are several types of student cards valid in Estonia. The student cards guarantee several beneficial discounts both in the public and private sector and are official student identification documents in the Republic of Estonia. ISIC card ISIC Card is the International Student Identification Card and can be used outside Estonia as well. See the international ISIC card discounts here. The card may be applied from the Federation of Estonian Student Union project page Minu kool. Some ISIC cards are bank related - these are official student cards and international debit cards at the same time. SEB bank offers the ISIC Maestro card and Swedbank offers the NPNK student card. ISIC and NPNK cards are equivalent to the non-bank-related ISIC card and provide a number of discounts and special offers at shops, cinemas, theatres, various transportation services, sport clubs, etc. in Estonia, ISIC acts as an international card as well. Lecturers can also apply for a ITIC card (International Teacher Identification Card). Estonian Student Identification Card The student ID proves the identity of a student and grants the right for the special ticket rates for public transportation (busses, trams, trolley busses, trains, plains, ferries, etc) that have established different prices for students. It does not grant any other discounts and it doesn't work in international lines. You can collect your Student Identification Card from the Student Union for free.
