Establishing tuition fees and targeted scholarships for the academic year 2020/2021

 

Based on the Higher Education Act paragraph 16 subsection 8, Estonian University of Life Sciences’ Act paragraph 5 subsection 1 point 1 and paragraph 9 subsection 4​, Estonian University of Life Sciences’ statute paragraph 13 part 2 subsection 3 and Estonian University of Life Sciences Senat’s 28.01.2020 regulation no 1-28/1 „Terms and conditions for payments on tuition fees in degree studies“ points 4, 5,6 and 40.

 

1.      Tuition fees to be established for academic year of 2020/2021 as follows:

1.1.   For study programmes taught in Estonian, for the students who are obliged to covertheir tuition fees in accordance with regulations of Estonian University of Life Sciences, 40 EUR per credit point, except PhD programmes.

1.2.   For study programmes taught in English, except PhD programmes:

1.3.   For studying in PhD programmes part time, the semester fee is 50 EUR;

 

2.      Confirm the number and allocation of targeted scholarships for full-time students enrolled in programmes taught in English for the academic year of 2020/2021 as follows:

3.      Establish a credit point fee of 40 EUR per credit point for externs, except for studying in PhD programmes, integrated programme Veterinary Medicine (code 398) for veterinarians taught in Estonian and Veterinary Medicine (code 118977) programme taught in English and Agri-Food Business Management (code 163697​) programme taught in English.

4.      Establish tuition fees for externs taking courses in the B.A. and M.A. studies’ integrated veterinarian programme as follows:

4.1.   100 EUR per credit point in Veterinary Medicine (code 398) programme taught in Estonian;

4.2.   150 EUR per credit point in Veterinary Medicine (code 118977) programme taught in English.

 

5. Establish tuition fees for externs taking courses in the M.A  Agri-Food Business Management (code 163697​) 50 EUR per credit point.

 

6. There are no tuition fees for studying as an extern in PhD programmes.

 

7.      Establish tuition fees for externs for thesis defence or final exam(s) as follows:

7.1.   Thesis in applied higher education 150 EUR;

7.2.   B.A. thesis or exam 150 EUR;

7.3.   M.A. thesis 300 EUR, except for Agri-Food Business Management (code 163697​) programme taught in English​;

7.4   M.A. thesis 1500 EUR for the Agri-Food Business Management (code 163697​) programme taught in English;

7.5.   Thesis or final exams in Veterinary Medicine 150 EUR;

7.6.   Thesis in Civil Engineering 300 EUR;

7.7.   PhD thesis 0 EUR.
