On 5 January, the Estonian University of Life Sciences concluded a competition in the main building of the university to recognise outstanding colleagues working at the university.

At the Estonian University of Life Sciences, a wonderful tradition has developed to gather just before the Christmas season to recognize tutors and buddies for their dedication and commitment.

Today were announced the results of the small animal clinic design competition organized by the Institute of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Sciences at the Estonian University of Life Sciences . First and third prizes went to the architectural firm Arhitekt Must OÜ for their works "Reflection" and "City." Second prize went to OÜ Kolm Pluss Üks for their competition entry "Ositi."

The veterinary medicine curriculums at the Estonian University of Life Sciences have received full accreditation from the European Association of Veterinary Schools, confirming that the programs meet high European standards. The quality certificate is valid until 2032.

On Friday, 21 November, the British Ambassador to Estonia, Ross Allen, visited the Estonian University of Life Sciences. Ambassador Allen showed interest in the University’s teaching and research activities in the field of the bioeconomy.

Dr. Renu Geetha Bai, nominated Associate Professor of Biotechnology at the Institute of Forestry and Engineering of the Estonian University of Life Sciences, has been awarded one of the three Baltic Women in Science fellowships allocated to Estonian researchers. The fellowship programme is jointly organised by the Baltic National Academies of Sciences and the National Commissions for UNESCO.
