From March 1, 2025, Kalle Olli will serve as the Vice-Rector for Research at the Estonian University of Life Sciences. The former Vice-Rector for Research, Rein Drenkhan, returned to his research work.

On February 19, the grand final gala of the "Science in 3 Minutes" competition took place at the Estonian Academy of Sciences, where five laureates were announced. Among them was Liis Lutter, a junior researcher at the Chair of Food Science and Technology at the Estonian University of Life Sciences.
