Greenmetric

The Estonian University of Life Sciences in every year participates as the only Estonian university in the global competition UI GreenMetric World University Rankings, which compares the impact of universities on the environment and their contribution to be more environmentally sustainable.

To participate in the competition, the university provides an overview of the indicators, which are divided into six different fields: infrastructure, energy, water, waste, transport and education.Through 39 indicators in 6 criteria, UI GreenMetric World University Rankings prudently determined the rankings by universities’ environmental commitment and initiatives.

The UI GreenMetric World University Ranking is a ranking on green campus and environmental sustainability initiated by Universitas Indonesia in 2010.
