On Friday, May 9 starting at 10.15, Are Kaasik, a doctoral student at EMÜ Institute of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences will be defending his doctoral thesis  „The detection of land use change and its interactions with biota in Estonian rural landscapes”. The supervisor is Prof. Kalev Sepp, the opponent is Dr. R.H.G. Rob Jongman (Alterra Wageningen UR, the Netherlands).

The defense will take place in room 1A5 at Kreutzwaldi 5.
