Tenured Professor of Food Hygiene and Veterinary Public Health

I am a professor of food hygiene and public health and the head of the Food Hygiene and Safety Division at the Institute. Since 2015, I have chaired the institute’s council. My teaching and research focus on food hygiene and safety, particularly microbiological food safety, investigating the prevalence, concentration, transmission pathways, and public health risk mitigation possibilities of foodborne pathogens.
