As a student or staff member, you can log in to the university’s computer network even when you are off campus. Below, you’ll find instructions on how to do this via a Virtual Private Network (VPN).
Once connected to the university network, you’ll have access to information systems, software, online environments, and other essential resources.
VPN access allows you to use the library’s databases and e-journals, as well as connect to the Studentfile server. Read the VPN setup guide here.
In addition to the resources available to students, staff members can also access other internal network services and file servers. Read the VPN setup guide here.
The Remote Desktop application allows you to access programs from your own computer that cannot be installed directly on personal devices—especially when working away from the university.
To use it:
Activate multi-factor authentication using the Microsoft Authenticator app.
If using the Microsoft Authenticator app is not possible, you can activate verification via SMS instead.
This will give you access to a variety of programs.
