Guide for entering university networks
As a student or staff member, you can log in to the university’s computer network even when you are off campus. Below, you’ll find instructions on how to do this via a Virtual Private Network (VPN).
Once connected to the university network, you’ll have access to information systems, software, online environments, and other essential resources.
What You can do with a VPN

Remote Desktop Application
The Remote Desktop application allows you to access programs from your own computer that cannot be installed directly on personal devices—especially when working away from the university.
To use it:
- Enable multi-factor authentication (MFA). If you cannot use the Microsoft Authenticator app, you can opt to receive verification codes via text messages instead;
- Set up Remote Desktop.

Activate multi-factor authentication using the Microsoft Authenticator app.

If using the Microsoft Authenticator app is not possible, you can activate verification via SMS instead.
