The aim of the EMU Centre of Renewable Energy is to initiate, coordinate, and develop interdisciplinary research and development activities in the field of renewable energy. Our activities contribute to cooperation between the university, the private sector and society, and to the promotion of the bioeconomy. The Renewable Energy Center at the Estonian University of Life Sciences has been operating since March 2006.

The Estonian University of Life Sciences and the Estonian Crop Research Institute participated in the Manure Standards project. The project ran from October 1, 2017, to December 31, 2019.
The aim of PANEL2050 was to support the transition to renewable energy in Central and Eastern Europe. And the Central and Eastern European Sustainable Energy Network (CEESEN) was created.
StartSun offers solutions to the challenges of creating an energy community, including the creation of the necessary knowledge base, sharing of documentation, and management of pilot projects.
EMÜ TEK is launching a series of seminars on renewable energy to lead the discussion on the most important developments in renewable energy.
For 25 years, the Estonian University of Life Sciences was the driving force behind the national conference on the research and use of renewable energy sources (TEUK). The first conference on the research and use of renewable energy sources (TEUK) took place on November 4, 1999, and the last TEUK conference was held in 2023.
Over the years, TEUK has become one of Estonia's most important conferences on renewable energy, especially in the early years of the renewable energy sector's development. The conference has addressed topics that are currently the focus of renewable energy development in Estonia, Europe, and globally: renewable energy resources, their production, and use. The conference stands out from its many international competitors by focusing primarily on local issues and bringing scientific results closer to the people. TEUK is the only national conference on energy in Estonia with such a long tradition.
The conferences have been held continuously for twenty-five years, bringing participants from different regions of Estonia to Tartu. Every year, the conference brings together researchers, entrepreneurs, and politicians to discuss renewable energy and the most pressing issues in the Estonian energy sector, as well as cooperation between science and business.
The conference was organized by the Estonian University of Life Sciences in cooperation with the Estonian Renewable Energy Association, the Tartu Region Energy Agency, and the Estonian Research Council.
Here you can download the TEUK conference proceedings in PDF format. Until 2008, the distribution of the collections was supported by the Estonian Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications. From 2008 to 2014, the conference was supported by EAS through the SPINNO+ program. Since 2015, TEUK has been supported by the ASTRA program.
NB! TEUK VII kogumikus oli kirjakurat pahandust teinud. Joonised lk 45 ja 99 olid ekslikult valed saanud. Siin lehel alla laetavas kogumikus on parandused sisse viidud.
TEUK18 ja TEUK19 kogumikku ei antud välja artiklite piisava hulga puudumise tõttu. :(
