The European Commission has awarded the Euroleague for Life Sciences Universities (ELLS) network approximately €7.2 million in funding for the next two years under the European Universities Initiative. As a member of ELLS, the Estonian University of Life Sciences has also been awarded European University status.

The Estonian University of Life Sciences and the U.S. Army Research Institute of Environmental Medicine (USARIEM) have signed a cooperation agreement to advance research on human performance, the effects of environmental conditions, and the effectiveness of protective clothing and personal protective equipment.

The Estonian University of Life Sciences will open its graduation ceremony season with the graduation ceremony of the Institute of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Sciences. The ceremony will take place on 12 June at 12:00 noon in the university’s main building auditorium (F. R. Kreutzwaldi 1a), where diplomas will be awarded to 91 graduates.

The Estonian University of Life Sciences generated 5,689.83 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent greenhouse gas emissions in 2025, representing a 15.3% decrease compared with the previous year. The most significant contribution to this reduction came from the use of more climate-friendly fluorinated gases (F-gases) in machinery and equipment.
