Estonian University of Life Sciences (hereinafter: EMÜ) encounters personal data of natural persons in the course of its activities, where any related or relatable data is considered personal data

In the course of our activities, we perform various operations with personal data, i.e., process personal data, which may include the following:

  • disclosing;
  • transmitting;
  • collecting;
  • using;
  • organizing;
  • storing;
  • modifying;
  • recording;
  • restricting;
  • deleting;
  • destroying

We ensure that:

  • personal data is collected only in a fair and lawful manner;
  • the processed personal data is up-to-date and complete;
  • information security measures are implemented to protect personal data;
  • personal data is collected solely for specified and legitimate purposes;
  • personal data is collected only to the extent necessary to achieve the specified purposes;
  • the data subject is provided access to their data and the ability to correct it if necessary.
