At the Open Science seminar, the discussion will focus on improving the visibility and usability of research data
The DataCite Estonia consortium is organizing an Open Science seminar on June 10 at 11:00 in the assembly hall of the Estonian University of Life Sciences, entitled “When data comes to life: research data management and collaboration in Estonia.” Researchers, data managers, research support staff, and all those interested in open science are welcome to attend.
The seminar will cover research data management, sharing, and collaboration experiences in Estonia. It will introduce research data infrastructures, the development of data management culture, repositories, and examples of the use of natural science and humanities data.
Speakers include researchers, data managers, and digital infrastructure developers from the Estonian University of Life Sciences, the University of Tartu, and the Estonian Literary Museum. Participants will have the opportunity to jointly discuss how to make research data more visible, usable, and sustainably managed within the Estonian research landscape.
