Members of the Senate of the Estonian University of Life Sciences
The Senate consists of 19 members. It includes the Rector as the Chairman of the Senate, Vice-Rectors, representatives of the university's academic staff (four representatives from each institute), and four student representatives.

The Senate includes 12 representatives of the university’s academic staff, with four representatives from each institute.
The representatives of the academic staff are elected by secret ballot in the institute’s council.
Senate members are elected along with alternate members as institute representatives. If a Senate member leaves the university, resigns voluntarily, or is appointed to a position incompatible with Senate membership, the Rector decides on the replacement of the Senate member with an alternate member.
