Students from the Engineering Students’ Association of the Estonian University of Life Sciences made a remarkable appearance — their robot Tüslik claimed first place in the lightweight category, while Tüstroyer secured an honourable third place in the heavyweight class.

Robots were divided into two weight categories: lightweight robots weighing up to 29.9 kilograms, and heavyweight robots up to 55 kilograms, which faced off in mechanical battles aiming to eliminate their opponents in the arena.

In an interview with Postimees, Märt Nõmme, a board member of the Engineering Students’ Association, said that their goal is to promote engineering studies through various hands-on projects, one of which is participation in the Battle Robot competition with their two robots.

The Engineering Students’ Association has for years contributed to fostering interest in technology and engineering, offering students opportunities to apply their knowledge in practice and to challenge each other through creative competitions.

The Estonian University of Life Sciences is proud of its students, whose technical creativity and engineering skills rank among the best in Estonia, proving that the future of engineering is in capable hands.
