Caroline Mary Sarikoski, a first-year Master’s student in Landscape Architecture at the Estonian University of Life Sciences, brings an international perspective to her studies. Originally from the United Kingdom and now based in Finland, she combines her professional work with studies in Estonia, travelling between the two countries.
With a background in landscape gardening, landscape design, and horticulture, Caroline was naturally drawn to landscape architecture. She values the programme’s international environment and especially its personalised approach to teaching, where students receive individual guidance based on their strengths and development needs.
“The programme allows you to grow in the areas where you need it most,” she says.
Although the studies are demanding and require strong individual commitment, Caroline finds them highly rewarding. The combination of creative and technical learning, along with real-life projects, provides a strong foundation for future career paths.
For Caroline, one of the biggest strengths of the programme is the close contact with lecturers and the supportive learning environment—something she believes makes a real difference in the overall study experience.
