On 4 July, President of the Republic of Estonia Alar Karis welcomed outstanding graduates from schools across Estonia to a ceremonial reception in the Rose Garden of Kadriorg Palace. Among the invited guests were 18 of the Estonian University of Life Sciences’ top graduates.
In his address, President Karis emphasised that a graduation diploma marks not only the completion of one stage of education but also the beginning of an opportunity for young people to shape their own future. He encouraged graduates to make thoughtful choices, noting that “without putting your heart into what you do, nothing truly valuable can be achieved.” He also urged young people to remain open to new knowledge, value cooperation, and listen to those who think differently.
Representing the Estonian University of Life Sciences at the reception were the best graduates from the Institute of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Sciences, the Institute of Forestry and Engineering, and the Institute of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences.
The President’s annual reception is a long-standing tradition recognising outstanding graduates from upper secondary schools, vocational education institutions, and universities across Estonia.
Congratulations to all graduates, and best wishes for success in your future studies and professional careers! View the photo gallery herelink opens in new page.
