Erasmus exchange (studies)

Ask the International Office in your university to help you. If you want to come with Erasmus+, ask the International Office in your university if they have a bilateral agreement with Eesti Maaülikool or check our list of Erasmus+ partner universitieslink opens in new page. Before you start appyling for Erasmus exchange at EMÜ, your home university has to send us a nomination (see deadlines below).

How to Apply for Erasmus Exchange (Studies)?

Contact the International Office at your home university to see if they have a bilateral Erasmus+ agreement with EMÜ or check our list of partner universities.

Your home university must send a nomination to [email protected] including:

  • Full name
  • Field of study
  • Study cycle (Bachelor's, Master's, Doctoral)
  • Date of birth
  • Gender
  • Email address

Once nominated, we will register you in our application system SoleMOVE and provide login details.

Required Documents:

  • Transcript of Records (in English)
  • Language Certificate (minimum B2 in English; TOEFL iBT 61 / IELTS 5.0)
  • Copy of ID or Passport
  • Passport-style Photo
  • Motivation Letter (max. 1 page)
  • Proposed Study Plan – Select your courses in SoleMOVE before filling in the Learning Agreement.

Deadlines

  • April 15 – Nomination deadline (Autumn semester / full year)
  • May 1 – Application deadline (Autumn semester / full year)
  • November 15 – Nomination deadline (Spring semester)
  • December 1 – Application deadline (Spring semester)

After submission, applications take 4–6 weeks for review. Once approved, you will receive instructions for your Learning Agreement, followed by a Letter of Acceptance.

Erasmus+ Traineeships

  • Veterinary traineeships (small animal, production animal, and equine clinics) are available at specific times.
  • Check the veterinary traineeships website for details.

Orientation Week

Orientation for Autumn 2025/2026 students: Last week of August.

Orientation for Spring 2025/2026 students: Last week of January.
