The Powering the Baltic Bioeconomy Pitching Event brings together innovative teams from Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania to showcase forward-looking solutions that advance the circular bioeconomy in the region. The event is organised under the BIOEAST Initiative and the BOOST4BIOEAST project, coordinated by the Estonian BIOEAST Hub at the Estonian University of Life Sciences.

Participation is free of charge, but registration is required.

The pitching event focuses on two key themes:

Theme 1: Biowaste Reduction and Valorisation
Innovative solutions for converting underutilised organic waste into high-value, market-ready products through scalable and sustainable technologies.

Theme 2: Awareness, Engagement, and Skills for the Bioeconomy
Creative approaches to increase public understanding, engagement, and collaboration in the bioeconomy through education, communication, and stakeholder initiatives.

Up to four teams per theme will be selected for the final in Tartu. Participants will receive pitch training and take part in two pitching rounds in front of a jury and investors, with a winning team announced at the end.

15.10 – 15.40 Evaluation of the teams by the jury members
15.40 – 16.00 Announcement of the overall winner

Support and Participation
Selected participants may receive partial travel cost reimbursement, subject to prior approval. Participants are responsible for covering their own accommodation costs.

This event offers a unique platform to gain visibility, receive expert feedback, and connect with key stakeholders shaping the future of the Baltic bioeconomy.
