Tuition fee

Tuition fee deadlines

The obligation to pay the tuition fee arises after arriving in Estonia and signing a contract with the university, the deadline for paying the tuition fee for the 1st semester is October 15.

The payments of the tuition fee are organised in two instalments each year: due dates are October 15 in the autumn semester and March 1 in the spring semester.

Tuition fee is paid based on an invoice that the university issues to the person paying the tuition fee electronically at least 14 days before the due date.

Tuition fee contract

You will sign a tuition fee contract at the beginning of the first semester. The tuition fee contract needs to be concluded before the student is matriculated.

Tuition fee contracts are prepared by the Deaprtment of Academic Affairs.

If you do not sign the tuition fee contract, you will not be matriculated and you will not have access to the Study Information System of the Estonian University of Life Sciences and to the learning materials. Therefore the students, whom the targeted scholarship is awarded, must also conclude the contract.

Payment when excluded from the matriculation register

If the student is excluded from the matriculation register during the first semester before October 15, he/she has the obligation to pay the tuition fee of 200 Euros. If the student renounces the student place before the payment due date as of the second semester of study, the student shall not be required to pay the tuition fee. In case the student renounces the student place after the payment due date, he/she shall have the obligation to pay the tuition fee for the current semester.

Payment when studying abroad, upon extension of studies and during academic leave
